Ahoy!

Autumn started off as a good reading month but towards the  end of the month I got into a pretty lousy reading slump and found myself reading short stories and listening to audiobooks. I also went travelling lite to Northern Ireland which meant I could only take a Little Black Classic, which I finished before we even got off the plane!

First, here's what I read:

I also started volunteering at the local library and I have been taking part in a rhyme time session in the children's section every Friday. It's pretty fun but when we sing the nursery rhymes I basically just pretend to sing them because I have no idea what the new ones are!

That version of the Tell-Tale Heart was a collection of three of his stories. I absolutely loved the Tell-Tale Heart and I genuinely love Edgar Allan Poe, but I didn't like the other two stories in the book. Although, it was only 80p in Waterstones, so it's well-worth it!

You can read the Tell-Tale Heart here
