September 2015 What-I-Read
September has been a rather jumbled month, I've had a tough time adjusting back to school routine and yeah, it's been a really, really, lousy month (both for reading and in general.)!
The Tale of Despereaux - Kate DiCamillo
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Bart Simpson's Guide to Life - Matt Groening
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Fangirl - Rainbow Rowell
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trans, Genderqueer and Queer Terms Glossary
Technically, at nine pages long, it isn't a book. However, it's registered as a book on Goodreads, so decided to add it anyway!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Everything, Everything - Nicola Yoon
Analysis:
Books read this month: 4 (and an article)
Favourite book this month: Bart Simpson's Guide to Life (I know, I know. It was just a perfect pick-up) but next month it'll probably turn into Everything, Everything!
Least favourite book this month: Fangirl
Average rating this month: 4.4

September has had its ups and downs for me as well. Here's hoping that October comes through for us.

All the best for October ;)
DeleteAs always honey I love the quote at the end of your post, it's such a perfect way to describe it :) I really want to read fangirl and have never heard of Everything Everything and would love to see a review :)

Yay, thank you! I'm currently writing a review of Everything, Everything ;)
DeleteDid you like The Tale of Despereaux? I remember loving it when I read it as a child. It was so full of whimsy! I really need to read some Rainbow Rowell. She's so popular right now, and I feel horrible about not having read anything by her. I think Fangirl would be the perfect start. From the summaries/reviews I've read, it seems like I would really relate with the fan fiction loving protagonist:)
ReplyDeleteI really did like the Tale of Despereaux, it was just so cute! I thought the same about Rainbow Rowell too, but unfortunately, I didn't find Fangirl as relatable as I'd hoped!
