 So, last week I completely failed at my readathon due to busy-ness (is that a thing?) and am currently doing a new one  which I WILL succeed in!

Ahoy!

 I have just realised how book-centred my blog has been and that it is not how I want it to be! I wanted it to be a nice mix of things because I appreciate that not everyone has the same interests as me and so I am doing something different for this weeks blog! 

 Did you know that the lovely, earthy smell after it has rained is called petrichor? It has a name! I thought it was just one of those things that didn't have a name - it was just... there. Turns out I was wrong. 

 This got me thinking about the other things that we didn't think had a name. I researched them and now... I have listed of some of my favourites!

My Top 10 Books | Bank Holiday Bonus

Ahoy!

 It's bank holiday Monday. Lots of us get a day off work/school/whatever! So, to celebrate this wonderful occasion I have decided to do an extra blog this week. Also, May the Fourth be with you.

 I'm a book lover. A bibliophile. A freak. A whatever you want to call me.
Over the years I have read quite a few books and naturally I have read ones that I have both loved and loathed and today I have decided to narrow it down to my top 10 favourite books. Now, before we start, I would like to say that some of these books I read years ago and now I have probably outgrown. Now. Right now. As we speak - I tend to read Young Adult (YA) fiction but as my Goodreads will prove, I do still read little children's books (you're never too old! Remember that!).
