Charity Shop HAUL
Ahoy!
I have always found charity shops on the top of my to-go-to places when I'm out shopping. They're are of course a bit hit and miss, but when successfully finding something you want (and don't!), you save heaps of money!
Here is what I've bought from various charity shops in the last month!
Okay, I'm not going to lie - I gave into peer pressure. Everyone has been banging on about it, so I picked it up for £1.00!
Don't Even Think About It - Sarah Mlynowski
Carrie Hope Fletcher (itswaypastmybedtime) mentioned how much she loved it, and well...
£1.00
The Hobbit - J.R.R Tolkien
Everyone's read it but me and it does sound interesting. I do already have a copy, but it is a special edition and I don't want to ruin it!
20p!
The Dream of the Red Chamber (Cao Xueqin), The Galápagos Islands (Charles Darwin) & The Secret Sharer (Joseph Conrad) - Penguin 60's Classics Edition
I'm starting to like classics more and more and they're so short!
The price for all 3 of them came to 50p!
Toki (Kimmidoll)
99p
Do you use charity shops? What do you think of my purchases? Anything else? Let me know in the comments!

"Yes: I am a dreamer. For a dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees dawn before the rest of the world" - Oscar Wilde
Ooo nice haul! I keep hearing good things about We Were Liars as well. Can't wait to see if you like it!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I look forward to reading it!
DeleteI do love charity shops and thrift stores. So much fun. I've found some great books there! I read We Were Liars earlier this year, I enjoyed it but I didn't think it was brilliant or anything. Nice haul!
ReplyDeleteI love them too!
DeleteGreat haul! I like to browse charity shops too, especially the book section! You never know what you might find :)
ReplyDelete-- Nicola Reads YA
Agreed! I've found some brilliant books thanks to charity shops!
DeleteWhoa, this is a fabulous haul! I wish we had shops like this around me, I would LOVE to go searching for bookish treasures (especially inexpensive ones!). Hope you enjoy the new books :D
ReplyDeleteShannon @ It Starts At Midnight
Thank-you!
DeleteNice haul! You did get many nice things!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that The Hobbit was only 20p, that's such a bargain!
I wish we had shops like this in my country... There are a few, but they are only open for a day or two (annually), so they get too crowded.
The Journeys of a Girl
That sounds really frustrating, I hope you get to find some bargains soon!
