Charity Shop HAUL

Ahoy!

I have always found charity shops on the top of my to-go-to places when I'm out shopping. They're are of course a bit hit and miss, but when successfully finding something you want (and don't!), you save heaps of money!

Here is what I've bought from various charity shops in the last month!

We Were Liars - E. Lockhart
Okay, I'm not going to lie - I gave into peer pressure. Everyone has been banging on about it, so I picked it up for £1.00!

Don't Even Think About It - Sarah Mlynowski
Carrie Hope Fletcher (itswaypastmybedtime) mentioned how much she loved it, and well...
£1.00

The Hobbit - J.R.R Tolkien
Everyone's read it but me and it does sound interesting. I do already have a copy, but it is a special edition and I don't want to ruin it!
20p!

The Dream of the Red Chamber (Cao Xueqin), The Galápagos Islands (Charles Darwin) & The Secret Sharer (Joseph Conrad) - Penguin 60's Classics Edition

I'm starting to like classics more and more and they're so short!
The price for all 3 of them came to 50p!

Toki (Kimmidoll)
99p

Do you use charity shops? What do you think of my purchases? Anything else? Let me know in the comments!

  2. I do love charity shops and thrift stores. So much fun. I've found some great books there! I read We Were Liars earlier this year, I enjoyed it but I didn't think it was brilliant or anything. Nice haul!

  5. Nice haul! You did get many nice things!
I can't believe that The Hobbit was only 20p, that's such a bargain!

I wish we had shops like this in my country... There are a few, but they are only open for a day or two (annually), so they get too crowded.
