Ahoy!

A few years ago John Green wrote a book called Zombicorns. Written so that all money went towards the Project for Awesome. Find out why I didn't like it....

Click to read now!

In a Nutshell:

Something about zombies and corn and a mid-apocalypse world or something.

The Actual Review:

Well, that was a miserable story with apparently no real purpose. I'm not sure what I think of it, I feel like I could justify rating it anything between 1 and 3 stars.

I know Green disclaims that it is badly written, but still not a reason to justify that in terms of a written, published novella. Whilst the style is engaging  there are grammar and spelling inconsistencies throughout.

As for the plot: I didn't like it. It was bare, undeveloped and miserable. Pages and pages of failing civilisation, murder, hunger and suicide. Not even Mr President, an adorable, loyal dog could brighten it up.

Star Rating:

⭐️⭐️

In Conclusion:
- It is badly written with spelling and grammar inconsistencies
- Very confusing
- The style is engaging

"My regret was instant, permanent and useless" - John Green

  2. I really want to read this just because it seems really, really weird. Is that bad? I mean, obviously I have to. You can't tell me it's confusing and ridiculous and then expect me to walk away, after all ;) Plus, it's short, right? Hahah thank you for this, I need some random weirdness in my life!
